Once our local Austin tour guides make sure you’re comfortable on a Segway, we depart to some of Downtown Austin’s most historic sites and landmarks. The massive, 9-block Capitol campus can be overwhelming, bur Segway guides will make sure you see the best highlights. After gliding around the capitol and government district, we lead you down Congress Avenue, the live music district, world famous 6th Street, and the beautiful, but perhaps haunted, Driskill Hotel. Other sites visited include the trendy warehouse district, window-shopping on Willie Nelson Boulevard, and the picturesque Austin skyline views of Lady Bird Lake. Then, we zoom across the Lamar Street and venture through the new Seaholm district as we explore some of West Austin. And don’t worry, we stop to take pictures!

Your Segway tour guide will lead you to the Texas State Capitol grounds, and then down Congress Avenue. Get a glimpse of Austin’s bustling nightlife and famous 6th street music venues just as they begin to come to life. Then, journey to more mysterious landmarks such as the haunted Driskill hotel and Moon Light Towers, and hear the story of Jack the Ripper, America’s first serial killer—was he really from Austin? The view the Austin skyline at Lady Bird Lake is a brand new experience at night, so be sure to take pictures. See Austin in a whole new light on the Austin After Hours Segway Tour!

Segway RentalWant to see the city at your own pace? Explore Austin with a Segway on your own! Rider are given a complimentary 20-minute orientation and rider training session before their departure that does not count toward their rental time. All riders must show a complete understanding of the Segway operation to qualify for a rental. If any guests do not qualify, a guided tour will be recommended as an alternate solution to entertainment.

Segway Tour Restrictions
Minimum age is 10 years old and minimum weight requirement is 60 pounds. Maximum weight of 360 pounds. Pregnant guests please refrain from participating. Guests should be able to climb stairs without assistance and stand for at least 1 hour. Guests will receive group Segway training as well as individual one-on-one training. Guests will be provided with a helmet and must fill out a liability waiver form prior to all tours and rentals. Riders under 18 must have a parent sign waiver and at least one parent or guardian on tour with them.
