While gliding on your
Segway, you will get to enjoy the scenic hill country, while learning
about the many amenities Horseshoe Bay has to offer.
This tour is Segway riding focused as well as
an educational experience. Designed as a scenic (nature) Segway journey,
the tour is a relaxing trip through Horseshoe Bay and some of the
residential areas with panoramic views of lake LBJ.
You'll glide right alongside Horseshoe Bays’ vast amenities and learn
about the following on the tour:

golf courses, a variety of wildlife,
Whitewater pro shop, the Yacht Club, Lake LBJ, variety of water sports at
the marina, Tennis Courts, Bayside Spa and Fitness Center, Waters at

hill country and landscape.
Obstacle Course
Relays
If it’s family fun and or
friendly competition you are looking for, then this is the activity for
you. We always begin with Segway orientation followed by riding and safety
training. After just a few minutes on the Segways you ought to be ready
for relay practice through cones. Bring out the kid in you and challenge
your children, loved ones and friends to a friendly race where accuracy
and control is the key to winning.
Team Building
Activity
If your company is looking
for a way to build a strong team relationship and have some fun, then the
Segway team building might be for you. After training and orientation,
your group will get to enjoy the excitement of a coned obstacle course
team relay competition. The relays will be based on control and accuracy
so as to facilitate a safe environment for all. Individual Segway
competitions may also be available after group team building functions.
Our customized Team Building tours & activities actively engage
participants in unforgettable experiences that challenge them in exciting
ways. Based on 4 years of Segway activity experience, we have developed a
broad range of team building programs that spark creative energy and build
trust. Our tour trainers help participants discover new insights and
translate them back to their work environments.
The main focus of the
Gliding Revolution staff is to deliver Segway tour experiences & Team
Building Activities that are like no other. The Gliding Revolution tour
guides are educated, likeable people that focus on safety, fun and
memorable activities!
Qualifications
Yes, we choose to carry insurance and the policy states that all riders
must be at least 12 years old for the Segways. The Segways have a weight
requirement of between 50-360 pounds. Our company became Segway dealer
authorized and certified with completion of all Segway training courses in
2004- Bedford, NH Segway Inc.
How should I prepare?
Wear comfortable shoes (no flip flops or high heels) consider sunscreen,
and sunglasses.
